You know the familiar saying, "Have your cake and eat it too"? Well, that was exactly the idea at Riley Catherine's 7th birthday party. Right in the middle of DiscipleNow Weekend, she and her friends gathered together, donned their aprons, and had a merry time in the kitchen baking up all assortments of cupcakes. It was a beautiful mess . . .

Not too pretty going into the oven, but oh so delicious coming out!
The girls personalized little bakery boxes for them to carry some extra goodies home to share.
And, then they had a tea party.
While the girls were decorating their cupcakes, Riley Catherine and I made her cake.
Believe me when I tell you, it was a very SWEET day!
